Four college-age men show off their substantial catch, while camping in the woods near Big Lagoon, north of Arcata, California. The letter sweater on the young man in the middle resembles a Stanford sweater. It's not unlikely these were San Francisco area residents on a holiday in the north woods.
The car behind all those fish is impressive in its own right. A sharp-eyed FaceBook visitor identified it as a White Steamer. Note it has no radiator cap, and mesh on the side of the hood. For 1908, it is very substantial.
