A rather surreal photograph of a building overhanging the edge of a channel at the Dalles.
A rather surreal photograph of a building overhanging the edge of a channel at the Dalles.
This building was part of a fishery which included a fishwheel, according to Steve Lehl, who owns the original photo. The view was likely taken after a flood, when the lower siding was removed to allow high water to pass through, keeping the building from washing away.
