We're looking at the second Hawthorne Bridge, which was completed in 1910. Recently restored, it is now the oldest vertical-lift bridge in America, and the oldest highway bridge in Oregon.
The Georgie Burton, built in 1906, was one of the last steamboats in use on the Columbia, making her last run in 1947. The Annie Comings was built in 1909.
