This overview of Fossil was taken in about 1901 by T. L. Stewart, the brother of James Stewart, who published the Fossil Journal from 1890 to 1919. Printed in larger sizes, it is possible to identify the IOOF building in center-left, built about 1895.
That building was enlarged to the left and now includes a museum. In detail view 1 can be seen the Central Hotel and Livery - Feed Stables.
