The Patterson Bridge was opened on May 28, 1932, and named for Oregon's governor from 1926 though 1930. It was designed by Conde McCullough, the highway engineer responsible for many of Oregon's beautiful bridges.
Detail view 1 shows the Coquille band, waiting in the middle of the bridge. Detail view 2 reveals a spare tire cover for the Oregon Cavemen, a service and social club from Grants Pass.
