Mount Shasta - c. 1888

Many Oregon photographers traveled south to California to create views of Mt. Shasta. This is I. G. Davidson's version. An early ranch is clearly visible in detail 2. I wonder what the large building is to the right - a hotel? The original boudoir card is imprinted both Portland, Oregon, and Tacoma, W.T., indicating a date of 1888 - 1889. -- This photo is restored and printed by Old Oregon.
