Louisa Denny, one of the founders of Seattle, with her grandson Lawrence Lindsley.
Louisa Denny, one of the founders of Seattle, shares a magazine with her grandson Lawrence Lindsley. She appears to be in mourning, perhaps for her husband David who died in 1903.
Lawrence Lindsley, born in 1878, was himself an amateur photographer and a collector of older photos. Much of his collection is now at the Museum of History and Industry in Seattle.
