In detail view 1 is the grocery store of F. A. Sacchi, an name well-known in early Marshfield. Frank Sacchi was a merchant and grocer at the time this photo was taken, who had moved to Marshfield from California in 1895. He sold milk both retail and wholesale, and in 1911 sold his grocery stock in order to concentrate on the milk business.
Detail view 2 shows the O'Connell Building, which is still standing at Second and Market Streets.
