This panoramic view is taken from the official program of the grand opening of the Oregon City - West Linn arched bridge in 1922. It appeared as the centerfold of the twenty-four page booklet prepared for the occasion.
The photo was created by Oregon City photographer Ralph Eddy. The artwork on either end is not attributed. The title of the piece is "The Most Beautiful Bridge in America". Local residents were proud of their new bridge, with a very modern design of a roadway cutting halfway through the arch spanning the Willamette River.
