Taken by Edward H. Hart, the well-known naval photographer, this exceptionally clear photo was probably created shortly before the Oregon was deployed to the Philippines. The location is unknown, but clearly civilians have been allowed on board for some type of special occasion.
The detailed photo reveals the level of spit and polish practiced, as you'd need to look hard to find a speck of dirt anywhere.
