The title originally given to this portrait by photographer Arthur Rothstein was "Rehabilitation Client, McMinnville, Oregon." I found that to be a bit mundane.
Rothstein's title was no doubt accurate, as this young man was part of the federal Resettlement Administration, which later became the Farm Security Administration. However, I prefer to call it "The Next Generation", which has the advantage of ambiguity - it could refer to either the young man or his piglet.
