After a day battling traffic traveling through First Addition in Lake Oswego, come back and look at this photo of how it appeared a hundred years ago.
After a day battling traffic traveling through First Addition in Lake Oswego, come back and look at this photo of how it appeared a hundred years ago. We're looking west down A Street, standing close to State Street.
As you can see, the only commercial structure in sight is the Haines Store, which detail view 1 shows us includes a laundry, a bath house, a confectionary, and even a pool hall to the right. Detail view 2 shows a good-sized barn a hundred feet or so up First Street.
