Completed in 1873, this 93-foot high lighthouse was built using the design from the Pigeon Point Lighthouse in California. It originally included the two-story keeper's dwelling shown in this photo.
Completed in 1873, this 93-foot high lighthouse was built using the design from the Pigeon Point Lighthouse in California. It originally included the two-story keeper's dwelling shown in this photo. In 1923, a second, one story keeper's house, also shown in this photo, was added just to the east.
Both dwellings and some other outbuildings were taken down in 1984. The space next to the lighthouse is now a grassy area.
