It looks pretty cold and damp in this scene of loading logs on railroad cars somewhere near Redmond in King County, Washington.

The original photo is stamped on the back "Winfred Wallace, Photographer", and at first I thought I had discovered a rare woman logging photographer. Turns out Winfred was male. Born in 1884, he was likely barely twenty when he captured this view.
Note in detail view 2 the man "riding" the cable-supported pole used for loading logs.
