Built in 1857, the Cape Flattery Lighthouse is one of the oldest lighthouses on the west coast.
Built in 1857, the Cape Flattery Lighthouse is one of the oldest lighthouses on the west coast. It is also the most northwest point in the contiguous United States. The 18 acre Tatoosh Island is sacred to the Makah, and currently access to the island requires written permission from the Makah tribe.
