A detailed view of an elaborate fixed fish wheel on the bank of the Columbia River. Published as a stereoview by Clinton Harnish, who took over from James Crawford in Albany in 1901, the original photo may have been taken by either Crawford or Harnish. The warehouse buildings and docks on the opposite bank may be for the lower end of the portage railroad around the Cascades.
