A Portland crowd gathers for a unique opportunity - the chance to step on board "Old Ironsides", the (now) over two centuries old U.S.S. Constitution, on her only visit to the Pacific Northwest in 1933.

While the U.S.S. Constitution did not participate in the Revolutionary War, she was built in 1797, and was named by President George Washington. She is the world's oldest commissioned naval vessel afloat, and can still be visited today in Charleston, Massachusetts.
