The 93-foot-tall Yaquina Head lighthouse was built of brick in 1873, and still operates today with its original Fresnel lense. As with most lighthouses, it has its own signature pattern - 2 seconds flash, 2 seconds dark, 2 seconds flash, and 14 seconds dark.
All of the buildings except for the tower were removed in 1984.
